About the role
The Director, Investment Banking (IB) role at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity to lead transaction execution, build firm integrated advisory capabilities and shape the continued growth of the Investment Banking platform within TPI.
What you'll do
- Lead, develop and manage the India-based IB team, including Associates and Vice Presidents, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability
- Partner with senior team members across all practice lines to lead execution across multiple concurrent engagements including M&A, capital raise, restructuring
- Oversee financial analyses, valuation work, transaction materials and client deliverables produced by TPI teams
- Provide leadership and quality control across all phases of transaction execution including diligence, marketing, investor outreach
- Advise clients and transaction teams on strategic alternatives, capital structure optimization, restructuring and special situations transactions
