About the role
The Senior Associate, Tangible Assets role at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a wide range of responsibilities and make a significant impact on a growing team. The Senior Associate, Tangible Assets will report directly to the local Director of VAL and serve as an integrated member of the VAL team.
What you'll do
- Perform valuation analysis of fixed assets, including machinery & equipment, real estate improvements, infrastructure
- Analyze and interpret financial, operational and market data to support tangible asset valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, financing
- Support client interviews to gather data and pertinent information
- Develop detailed financial models, assumptions and supporting analyses in accordance with applicable accounting, regulatory and professional standards
- Support internal trainings and best practice sharing
