About the role
The Senior Accountant at the Global Accounting Operations Center (GAOC) serves as a strategic partner within Qualcomm’s Controllership Team, leading global closing and reporting activities. This role is responsible for driving excellence in General Accounting, Treasury, Receivables, Cash & Banking, Payments, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and more.
What you'll do
- Lead US GAAP general accounting using advanced AI tools and automation platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all entries and documentation
- Oversee month-end close, including journal preparation, posting, ledger and trial balance review, and variance analysis
- Act as a subject matter expert for designated accounts, providing insight through automated analysis and reporting
- Prepare and remediate quarterly balance sheet analyses using AI-powered review solutions
- Deliver timely HQ and ad hoc reports, leveraging automation for accuracy and efficiency
