About the role
The role combines VAT reporting, reconciliations, audit support, adviser coordination, system testing and process improvement, working across Tax, Finance, AP, AR, Procurement and IT.
What you'll do
- Manage assigned EMEA VAT compliance activities, including VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat and filing evidence
- Maintain compliance calendars, monitor deadlines, investigate reporting exceptions and escalate risks promptly
- Extract, validate and analyse data from Oracle, SAP and other finance systems
- Review returns prepared by external advisers and ensure issues are corrected before filing
- Perform VAT balance-sheet, VAT-to-GL, AP/AR-to-GL and related reconciliations
