About the role
Procurement & Demand Execution Plan and release Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery schedules to suppliers based on MRP runs and CBT/electronic Kanban (EKAN) triggers. Prioritize and expedite materials across demand classifications: Emergency Purchase Orders (EPO), Vehicle Off Road (VOR), Initial Batch (IB), and regular service fill-rate requirements.
What you'll do
- Track, evaluate, and publish Supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance metrics
- Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) for supply failures, review recovery schedules, and ensure closure of corrective/preventive action plans
- Manage phase-in / phase-out (PIPO) of parts to prevent both stock-outs and obsolete inventory
- Liaise with manufacturing plant logistics and warehouse teams to execute inter-plant transfers (stock transfer orders) for VOR emergencies, premium-priced components
- Coordinate inbound transportation, vehicle planning, milk-run routes, and the turnaround cycle of returnable packaging/totes between suppliers and plants
