Senior - Purchase Position Title: Senior - Purchase The Assistant Manager - Purchase will oversee direct material procurement, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cross-functional planning to support continuous production operations. This role is key to maintaining seamless supply chain flow, optimizing procurement costs, driving value engineering, and ensuring strict compliance with operational standards and quality benchmarks.
What you'll do
- Strategic & Operational Procurement Manage the procurement of direct materials in line with production schedules, customer demand
- Timely release and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) based on operational requirements
- Monitor supplier confirmations and ensure strict adherence to committed delivery timelines
- Oversee procurement activities involving local external suppliers, global vendors, and inter-company trading operations
- Inventory & Material Management Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs while minimizing holding costs and avoiding excess inventory
