About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive SCM professional with hands-on experience in machining components sourcing, vendor development, and cost estimation. The ideal candidate should be able to manage supply chain operations for machined parts, ensure timely procurement at optimized costs, and closely coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support manufacturing efficiency.
What you'll do
- Handle end-to-end procurement of machined components, castings, and fabricated parts
- Understand machining drawings and specifications to identify critical sourcing needs
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and allocate parts based on quality, lead time, and capacity
- Prepare detailed cost estimations for new and existing machined parts
- Analyze cost breakdowns (material, machining time, labour, overheads)
