Assistant Manager - Purchase Position Title: Assistant Manager - Purchase The Assistant Manager - Purchase will oversee direct material procurement, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cross-functional planning to support continuous production operations.
What you'll do
- Strategic & Operational Procurement Manage the procurement of direct materials in line with production schedules, customer demand
- Timely release and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) based on operational requirements
- Monitor supplier confirmations and ensure strict adherence to committed delivery timelines
- Oversee procurement activities involving local external suppliers, global vendors, and inter-company trading operations
- Inventory & Material Management Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs while minimizing holding costs and avoiding excess inventory
