About the role
The Supply Chain & Materials Management function is responsible for the uninterrupted flow of finished goods, tobacco, leaf, materials, and stationery between manufacturing centres, godowns, and sale points. The Supply Chain Manager plays a central role in ensuring in-depth oversight, timely execution, and disciplined compliance across all five sections.
What you'll do
- Oversee receipt of finished bidi from all manufacturing centres into the Nizamabad godown
- Ensure accurate storage and stock upkeep of finished bidi at the Nizamabad godown
- Ensure timely and accurate despatch of finished bidi from the Nizamabad godown to designated sale points
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with manufacturing centres and sale points to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Oversee end-to-end procurement of material items (items used directly in production activities)
