About the role
The Global Commodity Specialist (GCS) will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy with suppliers of sourced electrical equipment, complementing GE inverters in Solar and Storage Power Conversion Stations (transformers, RMUs, switchgear, substation equipment). GCS will report directly to the Strategic Sourcing Leader and will work closely with the GCLs (Global Commodity Leader) and factory & project fulfillment teams.
What you'll do
- Develop supplier capacity planning strategies to meet current and future production requirements, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and continuity of supply
- Lead supplier contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders to establish favorable commercial and contractual terms
