About the role
The Senior Control & Protection System Engineering Manager leads engineering teams responsible for the design, integration, analysis, and testing of HVDC Control & Protection systems. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle—from conceptual design and modelling through simulation, validation, implementation, and commissioning—ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions across multiple projects.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day departmental operations, ensuring consistent design practices, adherence to global processes
- 2.Be the owner of all aspects of Control & Protection system deployment, system Configuration, and validation
- Electromagnetic transient studies (PSCAD, EMTP-RV)
- Control and protection system modelling (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Full plant/system modelling with end-to-end validation across multiple platforms
