About the role
You will be a part of a global, matrixed design and testing team, working in new product introduction and existing product sustaining / support. You will be responsible for validating GE hardware and software functionalities. This role requires, in addition to closely interacting with internal & external customers, strong inclusive team player with outcome focus & willing to work in Agile methodology of execution.
What you'll do
- Define validation strategies for testing the control platform of GE Power Conversion drives
- Develop test application and automated test scripts using generic scripting tools to perform the testing
- Create test scenarios for hardware modules supporting different communication protocols namely EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Canbus, IEC 61850, etc
- Prepare test plans, test cases, bug reports and other documents to meet the quality standards
- Prepare test rigs for validation and should be able to decide on the hardware and software required for the tests
