About the role
The HVDC Portfolio Technical Director (PTD) provides the overarching technical strategy, leadership, and integrated direction for the HVDC project portfolio, with a dedicated focus on the APAC region. The PTD is accountable for the quality, coordination for on-time delivery, competitiveness, and technical robustness of the HVDC solution.
What you'll do
- Serve as the key technical interface for the APAC region, working closely with GSI internal teams and representing the technical solution to regional customers
- Champion of "Return of Experience" (REX) to translate regional site-based lessons learned into improved design standards
- Ensure all APAC engineering activities remain consistent with operating objectives
- Close monitor of software (SW) delivery and manage the effectiveness of design implementation
- Verifying design consistency against contract requirements across the portfolio
