What you'll do
- Conduct power system research involving modeling and simulation of electrical components and networks, design of protection, stability, faults and controls
- Simulate and analyze electrical power systems consisting of electromechanical systems, renewable generation, conventional generation and controls
- Develop algorithms for power system optimization, generation scheduling and dispatch for grid connected and microgrid systems
- Develop and implement in hardware advanced controls of electrical system
