About the role
The Lead Engineer 1 – Pressure Parts & Piping operates with a high degree of autonomy to independently lead the design, engineering, and integration of boiler pressure parts and boiler area piping systems for new build, retrofit, and upgrade projects. As an intermediate-to-senior technical professional, the role requires advanced subject matter expertise and evaluative judgment to solve complex engineering challenges outside of standard operating practices.

- Design & System Integration: Create and oversee complete pressure parts arrangements, composite and component models using AutoCAD, 3D wireframe models
- Calculations & Code Compliance: Perform and review technical specifications, design calculations, hydraulic and pump head calculations, pipe sizing
- Procurement & Material Management: Manage material ordering information (tubes, pipes, plates, forgings, fittings, fixtures, shipping frames, and temporary closures)
- Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with other functions like supply management / Project management / Quality management team
