About the role
This System Value Optimization (SVO) Engineer role is responsible for wind turbine aero elastic simulations, encompassing New Product Development and Fleet Support as needed. The SVO Engineer will perform state-of-the art simulations, in accordance to Design Practices and IEC guidelines. This person will be responsible for loads execution and tools and methods development as needed.
What you'll do
- Execute mechanical loads analyses, controller tunings and trade-offs (loads, stability, operation and performance) for new products, cost out, design updates
- Preparation of loads inputs, creation of the aeroelastic model, execute loads analysis and perform postprocessing is part of the design loop and therefore the…
- Perform basic operability checks and frequency domain stability checks
- Hand off model and controller to MLA team, to execute site specific assessments
- Perform feasibility studies and develop tech charts
