About the role
The Plant Engineer – HVDC is responsible for the technical execution and coordination of plant engineering activities for HVDC projects across the project lifecycle. This role supports the development, integration, and delivery of engineering solutions for HVDC converter stations and associated systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, applicable standards, quality expectations, and project objectives.
What you'll do
- Support the execution of plant engineering scope for HVDC projects from tendering through design, installation, and commissioning
- Coordinate plant engineering activities across disciplines to ensure integrated design of HVDC converter stations and related balance-of-plant systems
- Develop and maintain plant layouts, general arrangements, engineering deliverables, and interface documentation in line with project requirements
- Ensure plant engineering solutions comply with customer specifications, local regulations, international standards, and internal engineering processes
- Work closely with electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, system, and commissioning teams to manage technical interfaces and resolve design issues
