About the role
This role involves leading projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. The role will provide opportunity to contribute to the overall Engineering management of complex projects with scope for Marine VCS, DP, Power Systems, Drive Controls and other advanced applications provided by GE Power Conversion business.
What you'll do
- Responsible for leading and coordinating technical aspects of larger projects with complex architecture that have huge impact on the business
- Produce designs, specifications and documentation for systems and supporting equipment, including generators, switchboards, transformers, converters, motors
- Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures
- Drive lean methodology to provide optimum technical solutions for the projects
- Demonstrate domain expertise in Marine to provide consulting solutions to the lead engineers in projects as well as to the customers
