About the role
As a Database Administrator is responsible for the Maintenance, Migration, performance, integrity, security and fine tune of a database to operate securely and efficiently. PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) developers specialize in writing and optimizing PL/SQL code within relational databases preferably in Postgres and SQL Server .
What you'll do
- Having good experience Postgress RDS
- Should be able to manage SQL opeartions on Postgress RDS instances
- Creating and modifying databases, including tables, indexes, views and DB Partitions
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance through tuning and indexing
- Performing periodic backups and ensuring data recoverability during disaster
