About the role
As a Static Commissioning Engineer, you will be technically responsible for the preparation of Pre-commissioning specification and execution of the Pre-commissioning activity at site. The role will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
What you'll do
- Lead the field cable laying & termination as per approved documents
- Lead the configuration, testing and troubleshooting of complex IEC61850 IED system
- Lead the cubicle standalone, inter cubicle and field interface test as per approved documents
- Testing of substation hardware and software interlocks
- Manage the record of spares & defective equipment
