About the role
This position will be responsible to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery and electronic equipment throughout the plant. Typical duties include electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of machines, test equipment, electronic controls/PLC programming. Skills required to assist Manufacturing/Quality engineering to implement changes to machines & test equipment.
What you'll do
- Worked in Machining industry and lean structure
- Troubleshoot & diagnose cause of mechanical/electrical/electronic malfunction/ Pneumatic or failure of production equipment as problems occur. Take action with sense of…
- Recommend new or upgraded equipment as needed to support/improve production methods
- Work with R&D/Manufacturing/Quality engineers to establish specifications & get quotes, prepare justification to purchase, and to install/qualify the new equipment
- Document maintenance requirements and communicate critical information to users
