About the role
We are hiring for a Geospatial Engineer to join our Data Generation team, working with satellite imagery, boundaries, weather data, and other geospatial datasets to build impactful solutions using cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
What you'll do
- Utilize open-source geospatial tools and libraries, particularly Python-based frameworks, for developing, implementing, and maintaining geospatial solutions
- Conduct raster image processing and analysis using open-source software and Python scripting
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and datasets, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design geospatial solutions that meet specific project needs
- Perform data acquisition, integration, and quality assurance tasks for geospatial datasets
