About the role
You will own significant parts of the platform, from FastAPI services and PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layers on AWS to LLM-powered features and data pipelines (with React front-ends where needed), working closely with cross-functional teams — product managers, data engineers, geospatial analysts, and other software engineers — to ship reliable software that scales to millions of daily transactions with high availability.
What you'll do
- Backend-Led Full-Stack Delivery: Design and implement features end to end — robust FastAPI backend services and well-modelled PostgreSQL data layers
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and rollback strategies to ensure correctness and resilience in production
- Communicate findings, insights, and technical decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
