The role is accountable for driving a world-class safety culture, ensuring environmental stewardship, accelerating Schneider Electric's sustainability ambitions, and embedding EHS&S into business strategy, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
What you'll do
- Serve as the India EHS&S leader and trusted advisor to the Country and Business Leadership teams
- Build and sustain a culture where safety is recognized as a core value and an integral component of business performance
- Drive enterprise-wide integration of EHS&S requirements into manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, engineering, R&D, projects, commercial operations
- Lead strategic initiatives supporting operational excellence, resilience, sustainability
- Ensure robust management of critical risks, serious injury and fatality prevention programs, contractor safety management, machine safety, electrical safety, ergonomics
