About the role
This role is part of the Loads and Controls Engineering Department within Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Technology organization. The team works on cutting-edge control technologies and advanced engineering solutions for next-generation wind turbines in a highly international environment.
What you'll do
- As part of the team, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and validation of advanced wind turbine control systems
- Work with aeroelastic simulation tools similar to Flex5, Bladed, or OpenFAST to evaluate and improve turbine control behavior
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across loads, software, mechanical, and validation engineering to solve complex technical challenges
- Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink-based tools and automation workflows for controller tuning, validation, and performance analysis
- Drive continuous improvements in control methodologies, simulation workflows
