Assistant Vice President - Equity

About the role

You will be part of the team and assist/drive origination, pipeline development, transaction execution, account management, value creation, transformation, strategy and divestment activities across a diverse assigned equity portfolio in the region. This role is based in Mumbai, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come.

What you'll do

• Supporting a transaction lead as an experienced deal team member, for assigned transactions along whole transaction lifecycle; assessing investment viability
• Supporting the investment/ divestment strategy for assigned investments/ divestments and maximizing value creation / preservation during entire transaction lifecycle
• Supporting external negotiations with co-sponsors, investee/target companies
• Identifying and assessing key risks and opportunities in target and investee companies
• Supporting asset management of assigned investments, by active asset management, supporting in the driving of portfolio strategy and value creation
