About the role
The role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources, inventory, and manufacturing capacity. This role involves collaborating with production, procurement, quality, warehouse, and sales teams to meet customer requirements and improve operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory levels
- Prepare and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of raw materials for smooth production
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, machine breakdowns, or material shortages
- Analyze production capacity, resource utilization, and bottlenecks to improve productivity
