About the role
As Real Estate Strategy Manager based in India, you will be part of the global SRE Portfolio & Strategy Location Strategy team. You will develop fact-based location and portfolio strategies for Siemens in India and across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), connect local and regional market and regulatory insights with global portfolio objectives, and prepare transparent decision proposals for senior management.
What you'll do
- Lead the preparation of location concepts, strategy papers, feasibility and pre-development studies, site selection assessments, master plans
- Structure and evaluate strategic real estate options, including consolidation, relocation, acquisition, leasing, redevelopment, sale and leaseback
- Analyze portfolio, location, infrastructure, demographic, workforce, and real estate market data for India and other APJ countries, including office, industrial, R&D
- Assess country-specific market and regulatory conditions across India and APJ, including land and lease structures, zoning and development parameters
- Manage and challenge external International Property Consultants (IPCs), brokers, valuers, and other advisors in India and across APJ
