About the role
Senior Pre-Sales Engineer Role (BMS & Fire Systems) We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS). This role will be based in India, providing pre-sales engineering support to regional teams, with close collaboration with local country experts for site-specific, regulatory, and commercial inputs.
What you'll do
- Conducting both preliminary and detailed pre-sales engineering to assess project suitability, understand requirements, and quantify scope for BMS and Fire Alarm tenders
- Reviewing tender documents, site information, and available as-built drawings to identify system requirements, HVAC equipment, fire alarm systems, field devices
- Reviewing sequence of operations and fire cause & effect, identifying gaps in specifications related to I/O summary and system requirements
- Selection and sizing of BMS devices (sensors, valves, actuators, controllers)
- Selection and configuration of fire alarm systems (detectors, modules, panels – e.g., Sinteso EN)
