About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead backend engineering teams, drive technical and execution excellence, and build strong engineering leadership within the organisation. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Business, and Technology leaders to translate business goals into engineering outcomes.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering teams through managers: Manage and mentor Engineering Managers, helping them improve team performance, technical decision-making, execution
- Drive engineering execution: Own engineering roadmaps, delivery commitments, and execution across multiple teams
- Build scalable backend systems: Guide teams in designing and delivering reliable, secure, and scalable backend services and financial platforms
- Strengthen technical excellence: Establish high standards for system design, architecture, code quality, testing, operational readiness, and engineering practices
- Develop engineering leaders: Coach Engineering Managers on team building, performance management, career development, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
