About the role
In this role, you will serve as a technical assessor responsible for reviewing new power electronics designs throughout the product development cycle.
What you'll do
- Review power electronics architectures from concept stage through production release
- Independently analyze and verify converter topologies, power stages, control loops, protection mechanisms, and overall system performance
- Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate design assumptions and identify technical risks
- Evaluate thermal design, component derating, power dissipation, cooling solutions, and long-term reliability
- Review magnetic component designs, including transformers, inductors, and current sensing elements
