About the role
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations and gain exposure to client accounts in the equity trading / stock brokerage sector .
What you'll do
- Assist in maintaining daily books of accounts , including ledgers, journals, and bank statements
- Support preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial reports
- Help with bank reconciliations and client account reconciliations
- Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Support the Senior Accountant / Finance team in audits and preparation of MIS reports
