About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant with over 10 years of experience to join our client . The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Taxation , GST , and Labour Laws . This role will involve managing and overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective handling of labour law-related matters.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
- Manage end-of-month and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial records
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns , TDS, and other tax-related documentation
- Handle tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to Income Tax and GST regulations
- Review and optimize the company's tax structure to ensure maximum tax efficiency
