About the role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Secondary Chemistry Teacher to join our IGCSE team. The successful candidate will inspire and educate students in the field of chemistry, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles and critical thinking skills. Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for secondary-level chemistry education.
What you'll do
- Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for secondary-level chemistry education
- Teach fundamental concepts of chemistry, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, and organic chemistry
- Assess student learning and progress through formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, tests, laboratory reports, projects, and presentations
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns related to chemistry education
