What you'll do
- AI is a core part of how you work: you use it to analyse sources, draft mappings, generate and test code
- The role suits an engineer who enjoys a live problem, a demanding stakeholder and a fast pace
- Build: design and build batch and streaming pipelines on Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog
- Operate: own production reliability for what you build (CI/CD, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis)
- Communicate: give crisp written and verbal updates to business and technology leaders, record decisions in Confluence and Jira, and reset expectations early when scope
