About the role
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, the EDT organization serves multiple internal stakeholders. Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.
What you'll do
- AI is a core part of how you work: you use it to analyse sources, draft mappings, generate and test code
- The role suits an engineer who enjoys a live problem, a demanding stakeholder and a fast pace
- What 'Forward Deployed' means here: Embedded: you spend a large share of your time with business users – in their meetings, their tools and their data
- Build: design and build batch and streaming pipelines on Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog
- Operate: own production reliability for what you build (CI/CD, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis)
