About the role
This role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained in the design, production, and testing of electrical panels for switchgear and control systems. The In-Process Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring quality at various stages of the manufacturing process.
What you'll do
- Monitor and inspect manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
- Identify, document, and report any deviations or non-conformances; initiate corrective actions promptly
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues during manufacturing
- Implement and maintain process control plans, inspection checklists, and quality control procedures
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for in-process defects
