About the role
The Test Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for performing, monitoring, and documenting mechanical testing activities for automotive connectors and related products. This role involves operating testing equipment such as Universal Testing Machines (UTM), preparing test samples, setting up test fixtures, conducting tests according to industry standards, analyzing results, and generating test reports.
What you'll do
- Mechanical Testing & Validation
- Conduct mechanical testing of automotive connectors and components as per customer and industry specifications
- Independently operate Universal Testing Machines (UTM) and other mechanical testing equipment
- Prepare test samples, develop test setups, and establish test rigs for various validation activities
- Execute mechanical performance, durability, and reliability tests according to defined procedures
