About the role
The Application Developer Specialist role is designed for individuals with advanced experience and knowledge across multiple programming languages, methodologies, and to be able to make recommendations on architectural landscapes. The individual will be expected to solve for complex needs while maintaining best practices, governance, and industry standards.
What you'll do
- Ensures that all programming / configuration adheres to corporate standards, and all integration issues are identified and addressed
- Ensures business applications are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
- Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts
- Creates impact and details design documents, translating requirements into an appropriate system design and version control of deliverables
- Formulates and defines application scope and objectives; devises and modifies procedures to solve business problems
