We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer III – Precision Robotics & Mechatronics with expertise in robotic automation, mechatronic systems, precision motion, and sample handling technologies to support the design, development, and lifecycle management of Electron Microscope (SEM, TEM, DualBeam/FIB-SEM) products.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and optimize robotic and mechatronic systems for Electron Microscopy platforms and adjacent high-precision instrumentation
- Develop precision sample handling mechanisms, robotic transfer systems, end-effectors, grippers, and automation modules
- Design precision motion mechanisms incorporating servo motors, linear actuators, encoders, sensors, and precision transmission components
- Apply robotics, kinematics, and mechatronic design principles to achieve high positioning accuracy, repeatability, and reliability
- Collaborate with Controls, Software, Systems, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering teams to integrate robotic subsystems into complete products
