About the role
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you'll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. The Senior Electrical Engineering Manager will provide technical and people leadership for the PCBA Center of Excellence in Hyderabad. This role requires strong hands-on experience in electrical and PCBA product development, ideally in complex or regulated products such as scientific instruments, diagnostics, or medical devices.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership and deep expertise in electrical and embedded systems design, including power electronics, motor control, precision analog, RF
- Review and guide system- and board-level architectures, design changes, and component selection
- Apply end-to-end electrical and PCBA product-development experience to assess product architecture, technical risk, design changes
- Lead technical trade-off analyses across performance, cost, risk, reliability, and manufacturability
- Partner with R&D and site engineering teams to convert technical concepts into robust, validated, and executable design solutions
