About the role
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site/store. This role includes inventory control, timely issuance and receipt of materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the availability of necessary items for smooth construction operations.
What you'll do
- Receive, inspect, and store materials, tools, and equipment as per company procedures
- Maintain inventory records through manual logs or inventory software
- Ensure all materials are issued to departments/projects with proper documentation (Material Requisition Slips/Issue Slips)
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with records
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely material availability and replenishment
