About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will work across backend services, web APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, and help integrate AI capabilities into our products. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and PHP
- Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring they are secure, versioned, and well documented
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, query tuning, and stored procedures
- Write complex, efficient SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) using services such as compute, storage, queues, and managed databases
