About the role
To set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines for manufacturing precision components as per engineering drawings, CNC programs, and production requirements while ensuring dimensional accuracy, quality, productivity, and safety.
What you'll do
- 1.Set up VMC machines for different components as per production requirements
- 2.Read and understand engineering drawings, component drawings, and work instructions
- 3.Select and install appropriate cutting tools, holders, collets, fixtures, and work-holding devices
- 4.Load, verify, and make necessary corrections to CNC programs
- 6.Perform job setting, tool setting, and component alignment accurately
