About the role
As an Embedded Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, cybersecurity, and performance of X-Rite's embedded software solutions. You will work closely with software, firmware, systems, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle to validate new features, improve test automation, and ensure robust product releases.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software products
- Develop and enhance automated test frameworks, regression test suites, and validation tools to improve quality and efficiency
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing of embedded devices and associated software components
- Analyze test results, investigate defects, and work closely with software and firmware engineers to identify root causes and verify fixes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle
