About the role
We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to join the team responsible for one of X-Rite's strategically important desktop software products. This product plays a critical role in our customers' workflows and has a large installed base worldwide. The primary focus of this role is validating product quality through manual testing, exploratory testing, and systematic regression testing.
What you'll do
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for a business-critical Windows desktop application
- Design, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
- Perform exploratory testing to identify defects and quality risks not covered by scripted test cases
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and software releases
- Work closely with developers to investigate issues and validate resolutions
