About the role
The Senior Server Administrator is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s server and IT infrastructure environment. The role will ensure that infrastructure services remain secure, resilient, highly available, and aligned with business requirements.
What you'll do
- Server & Infrastructure Administration
- Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments across physical and virtual platforms
- Manage server hardware, operating systems, virtualisation platforms, storage, and associated infrastructure services
- Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and health, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
- Perform server builds, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning in accordance with established standards
