About the role
You will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured in India meet Vertiv's global quality and engineering standards.
What you'll do
- Take end-to-end ownership of the Rack PDU product line, serving as the primary technical point of contact for the India manufacturing site
- Collaborate with the global Rack PDU engineering team to understand product design intent, specifications, and global standards
- Lead the localization and integration of electro-mechanical designs to enable manufacturing in India, ensuring compliance with global product standards
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, schematics
- Guide and support the factory team through the production ramp-up process, providing technical direction and resolving engineering issues on the shop floor
