About the role
As an MCAD Designer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary Engineering team on Sustaining & VAVE activities for Thermal units. Your role involves designing mechanical solutions, primarily sheet metal and piping, while coordinating with Suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering to align with product marketing inputs.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Engineering team on Sustaining & VAVE activities for Thermal units
- Create and review CAD drawings, specifications, and bills of material, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, environmental, and timeline objectives
- Design mechanical solutions (sheet metal, piping) in collaboration with suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering
- Achieve objectives for cost, quality, and timelines, balancing market and internal customer needs
- Analyze and resolve product-related technical issues, improving designs to simplify assembly, reduce costs, and enhance quality
