We are seeking a highly motivated Buyer at Oragadam, Chennai to join our Purchase team on a full-time basis.
What you'll do
- Create, issue, manage, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs), procurement policies, and delegated authority limits
- Ensure timely placement of orders and obtain supplier acknowledgment and confirmation of all purchase orders
- Monitor and maintain open order reports, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of completed orders
- Track supplier commitments and update delivery dates, pricing, lead times, and order status within the ERP system
- Maintain accurate purchasing master data and procurement records within the ERP system
